Typical Italian man-at-arms armor from the second half of the 15th century, made in Lombardy, at the time one of the most important centers in Europe in the manufacture of armour. Similar models can be admired today at the museum of the sanctuary of S.Maria delle Grazie in Curtatone (MN). Composed of a man-at-arms helmet with pointed visor and ribbed crown. Collar ruff. Bust-shaped chest, with cuff strap and washer fastened by needles to the hauberk part and obliquely lowered axillary turns. Back with poorly modeled butt. Symmetrical side panels, shaped and decorated with ornamental rivets; fastened to the flap blades to protect the upper part of the thighs; forked. Bracers with asymmetric shoulder pads for men-at-arms, with the right having a sunken front wing equipped with a schooner and the left drooping and fewer blades. Cubitera and cubit guard to defend the elbow. Mitten grips, i.e. with only protection for the four fingers and dummy from the wrist up. Leg strap structured in a cannon complete with two hinged and buckled plates to protect the thigh. Knee with articulated slats and fin. Healthy greave to protect the leg from the knee to the instep and heel. Formed by two plates hinged together along the waning edges on the external band of the limb. Shoe with articulated blades.
