Siege crossbow in use in Europe in the 15th century which, due to its size and power, had to be wielded from a fixed position. The holder is made of national hard fiber wood decorated with floral motifs. On the back, behind the walnut snap, a ram's head is carved in the round, with not only decorative functions. In fact, the zoomorphic figures obtained in this particular position provided support to the shooter for greater stability. The rope, made of woven hemp threads, is attached to the pointed ends of the steel bow, covered with leather trim. Bracket, trigger, front sight and sight table are in burnished metal. It comes with a wooden dart equipped with a metal tip and fins made from natural feather.
The maximum range is about 30 meters, but the shot lacks precision as this crossbow is built mostly for ornamental reasons.
