The modern spring-loaded air rifle can provide high levels of muzzle velocity in countries where the law allows it. High-powered rifles provide punishing recoil that can shake a scope off the ground if the scope mounts aren't designed to resist the recoil.

Spring loaded airbrushes create double recoil which requires a well designed mounting system. Hawke ¥ Match Mounts feature a recoil stop and cushion tape to prevent damage to the scope tube.

The dual hex screws and precision machined dovetail retaining bar fit perfectly into the dovetail of the rifle. The dovetail clamp rail is reversible to fit both 9-11mm rifle (air rifles) and 3/8" receivers.

The stands come with a stylish ribbed top cap which is also secured with twin screws on each side. During manufacture all sharp edges are rounded off to avoid accidental pinching of the scope tube.
