The UX Canex achieves this by combining reliable technology with durable, lightweight materials and practical features. The CO₂ drive consists of two 12 g CO₂ capsules placed in the stock together with the piercing tool, which provide a constant muzzle energy of < 7.5 joules. A 10-round rotary magazine for 4.5 mm (.177) pellets, combined with the almost 540 mm long rifled barrel, ensures high accuracy. The Double-Action Only trigger allows for rapid firing, because there is no need to manually cock the rifle between shots. The UX Canex remains pleasantly light, weighing only 1740 g, thanks to its durable polymer stock.

The rear sight is adjustable for elevation and the push-button safety prevents accidental firing.
