The Mauser C-96 is a semi-automatic pistol produced in Germany from 1896 to 1937, created by the brilliant Peter Paul Mauser.
This semi-automatic pistol, with over a century of history, has an extremely functional and practical design that has led it to be recognized as one of the best weapons in the world.
The German army received more than 100,000 units, which it used during World War I where close-range fighting in the trenches abounded. Communist Russia bought large quantities of it, so much so that it ended up receiving the nickname "Bolo-Mauser", that is, the Mauser of the Bolsheviks.
When World War II began in 1939, the C-96s were still in use.
