The battery grip is mounted in the same place as the original battery, by rotating the battery from the head of the lamp. The grip also includes a bottom piece with a switch and can therefore be charged with the original charger. The robust construction offers good protection against impacts and shocks. The best battery performance is ensured by overheating protection and a protection circuit that prevents overcharging and self-discharge. The lithium-ion battery does not have a so-called memory effect, so charging is trouble-free. The very low self-discharge rate allows the battery to be stored unused for a long time. Perfect to have on hand if battery consumption is high, for example if the lamp is used for long periods at the maximum setting.
