CARIBBEAN KNIFE G-10/LC200N PLAIN SHEEPFOOT SPYDERCO (C217GPSF)

The Caribbean Salt family of knives has a number of distinguishing features that separate them from the other folders in Spyderco's Salt series, but still make them ideal cutting tools for use in and around the water. The blades on these knives are made of LC200N, a nitrogen- and chromium-rich alloy that achieves its hardness through a conventional heat treatment process, but offers incredible corrosion resistance and toughness.

Their lightweight, open handles feature special G-10 scales with alternating colored layers. The outer surfaces are carefully machined to create a ribbed pattern that provides a non-slip texture and reveals the contrasting color of the layer underneath. The inner side of the scales is also machined to accept nested, corrosion-resistant LC200N liners that provide impressive structural strength and form the basis of the knife’s Compression Lock mechanism. For convenient carrying and instant access, all Caribbean Salts feature a reversible hourglass titanium pocket clip that supports left- or right-side tip-up carry and a lined lanyard hole for easy attachment of lanyards, lanyards or key rings.
