The AD-15 may be the most comfortable and easy-to-use sub-3.5" knife Cold Steel has ever made! Modeled after Andrew Demko's patented original, it offers ambidextrous operation and opens and closes with one hand.

The sabre-sharp spear point blade features a false edge and includes a tang on the spine to provide excellent control when precision cutting is required.

The AD-15’s unique hybrid handle is what sets it apart; featuring Andrew’s famous Scorpion Lock, the lower portion of the handle has 3D machined G-10 scales mated to steel liners, while the upper portion of the handle, called the “yoke,” is machined from a 3D machined 6061 aluminum billet that includes an integral rear spacer that holds a strong compression spring.

To open the knife, simply insert the thumb stud and watch the yoke lift up until it falls comfortably into a deep notch in the blade tang. Held securely by the constant spring pressure and supported by the strength of your grip, the Scorpion Lock is virtually immune to breakage!
