MACHETE KREIOS EXPEDITIONS EXTREMA RATIO (0171/EXP)

Expedition series is the new range of tools dedicated to exploration professionals. The knives of the Expedition series offer the same performance, reliability and high quality of all the tactical tools that Extrema Ratio supplies to military and law enforcement special forces. Kreios Expeditions , like the Kreios model from which it derives, was designed and developed thanks to the collaboration with the Master Advanced instructor Daniele Dal Canto. It is defined by its creator as a sort of "off-road" cutting tool, therefore not a specific disposable tool, but a multi-tasking tool, extremely versatile and designed to cope with numerous uses. In terms of ergonomics, weight and size, Kreios Expeditions is suitable for opening gaps in thick vegetation, especially where it is necessary to keep away, for safety reasons, from thorny or harmful essences for the person. Thanks to its robustness, it is an effective machete even in the heaviest field work. Combining the 32 cm of the “full flat” cutting edge, the 11° forward inclination of the blade and the 630 gr. of its weight, you get a tool with extraordinary cutting capabilities that does not fear bending. The Kreios Expeditions brings together modern geometries and materials combined with the lines and effectiveness of blades typical of the Malay and African tradition, giving life to an ideal tool for field work but also, in case of need, for defense/offense. Kreios Expeditions is equipped with a desert-colored forprene handle and a BÖHLER N690 steel blade (58HRC) with MIL-C-13924 burnishing and stone washed surface finish (Dark Stone finish). It comes with a desert cordura sheath with MOLLE system and safety carry strap, equipped with a mini pouch containing paracord with flammable filament usable in case of emergency and/or critical weather conditions and a Firesteel for lighting fires.
