KNIFE S 2 GOI BLACK EXTREMA RATIO (0494/BLK)

S 2 GOI, adopted by the Incursori Operational Group of the Italian Navy, is the development of SERE 1, created by a study group made up of Special Forces operators, martial artists and survival techniques experts. This variant has been revisited according to the needs expressed by the Department. The acronym SERE refers to the four principles "Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape" that make up the training program provided to military personnel at high risk of capture. The S 2 GOI is suitable for both point and cutting use. The unique grip of its kind, unlike the classic blades of this type, is fixed between the index and middle fingers, thus forming a single axis from the tip of the blade to the user's wrist, allowing it to be used even in reverse grip. The handle has the same ergonomics as the stock of a firearm; this grip allows an instinctive and immediate use, being able to easily integrate the training into the training activity. The geometry of the tip guarantees maximum penetration, at the same time its triangular-based axial profile protects its resistance. The design of the blade has a partially serrated profile on one side to help cut ropes, and on the other a classic line cutter or belt cutter which, unlike the previous model, has re-sharpenable and interchangeable blades. The central slot, which has the dual function of lightening and turning the shackles, recalls the seafaring origins of its creators. The particularity of the knife is that it was specifically designed to be used even without the handle; the two holes in the part dedicated to the handle make it easier to assemble. The kydex sheath has a basic retention that can be used alone for operators who need to use the knife extremely quickly, and a removable safety lock if necessary. The knife is supplied with double safety for ambidextrous assembly. An insert with slotted screwdriver is present as an accessory. Comes with belt clip for attachment to the belt and paracord for attachment to the MOLLE system "Using the gun, knife or other weapon is the same for us: it's just an extension of the hand."
