FAT BOY DARK STONE EXTREMA RATIO KNIFE (0107/DKS-BLK)

FAT BOY is the most robust fixed blade knife ever produced by Extrema Ratio. This is the first knife produced in N690 steel (58HRC) with a thickness of 8.6 mm. The overall weight of this model is 1 Kg.

Its development draws inspiration from the first cleavers used since ancient times as a combat and defense weapon.

Characterized by exceptional resistance, Fat Boy finds use as a unique striking tool. Thanks to its generous dimensions, Fat Boy is ideal for all heavy-duty uses from breaking and disengaging from extreme scenarios, allowing to carry out various typical activities of the breacher including the use as a lever for the purpose of opening doors, car doors and windows.

These spectacular features transform into pure fun when we move the Fat Boy into an outdoor or prepping context, where chopping and batoning become simple formalities.

The blade, characterized by a full flat sharpening, has a particular tip structure that, in addition to combining the ability to penetrate with the possibility of using it as a wedge, allows at the same time to protect the main cutting edge. Its shape and width also allow it to dig small holes in the ground in emergency situations. The back, thick and flat at the end, gives the tool a greater mass and striking surface useful for hammering and planting pegs.

Fat Boy has a handle composed of 2 black G10 scales made with the new original Extrema Ratio design. Removable and replaceable, they allow for inspections and checks under the handle and allow for the assembly of paracord.

Fatboy is available in the Satin and Dark Stone versions, both supplied with a black cordura sheath with an anti-cut rubber blade block. The Molle system on both sides allows, depending on the side where the two vertical strips that allow the height adjustment of the thigh band are positioned, the use for both right-handed and left-handed people. This system allows you to attach accessories, pouches or an additional back-up knife offering the possibility of easily moving all the accessories from one side to the other. All the components of the sheath can be replaced separately.
