The core of the Kaname blades is made of extremely resistant VG Xeos steel with a hardness of 60-62 (±1) HRC, sheathed in two layers of stainless steel. The special manufacturing method guarantees a thin cutting edge that reduces friction during use. This results in excellent and long-lasting sharpness, promoting filigree, even and precise cuts.



Handle:
Handle made of durable pakka wood, with the addition of fine resins that make it very resistant to use and humidity. The typical chestnut shape (traditional Japanese shape) ensures a secure and ergonomic grip during cutting.
