The Hikmicro M15 camera trap is a useful control and security tool, with the possibility of connecting to the 4G cellular network for sending images and videos immediately.
With a PIR sensor (passive infrared) which detects the movement of animals and the recording of photos and videos, it is the ideal tool for monitoring even isolated areas. Through the HIKMICRO Sight app you can acquire data in real time and act on the camera trap settings.
The images have a resolution of up to 10 megapixels and the recorded videos also have audio acquisition, of a variable duration depending on the desired resolution. Images can be captured in single, double or triple shots, in quick succession. The camera captures color images during the day, and black and white images at night. Sharpness is ensured by 12 infrared LEDs.
The 4G antenna allows you to transmit all images and videos to your smartphone via the free HIKMICRO Sight app, through which you can remotely set the various options, such as image resolution, two different operating periods and various other options. Thanks to the intuitive interface, the use of the M15 camera trap is really very simple.
Operated by common AA batteries, the camera allows you to use 6 or 12 batteries. With 12 batteries, the operating time in standby mode is at least 6 months. Installation can be done via straps to a tree or placed on a tripod thanks to the standard threaded hole. In addition to data transmission via cellular network, the M15 also allows local saving on an SD card (not included) up to 32 GB.
Thanks to the passive motion sensor, the camera trap is activated automatically only when animals or people pass by, without being influenced by cyclical movements such as passing clouds or trees moving in the wind. The sensor detects movements up to 25 meters, with a vertical angle of 60° and a horizontal angle of 45°. With a compact size of 112x86.4x143 mm and a weight of 440 grams, and thanks to the camouflage pattern, the camera trap blends easily into the environment.
