Original Pietta blank replica of the RebNord Sheriff model revolver, derived from the Navy model manufactured in 1851.
Shortened compared to the original to be more convenient and quicker to extract and use, it was renamed Sheriff as the main users of the time were the sheriffs of western cities. The Reb Nord version is distinguished by its octagonal barrel compared to the round barrel of the classic model.
The gun is made of metal, with brass frame, trigger and back, with wooden grips.

Ottima replica di una rivoltella confederata "Griswold & Gunnison" con canna da 7 pollici. Costruzione di qualità e robustezza senza pari; Pietta ha fatto davvero bene a proporre queste varianti a salve (anche se alla fine sono completamente identiche alle repliche a polvere nera se non per la canna otturata ed il tamburo che non permette l'inserimento di altri calibri oltre al .380 a salve). Nessuna pecca se non il cane, su tutte le armi Pietta il mollone è sempre parecchio rigido.
