The Vortex Razor HD 4000 GB rangefinder is a very high precision, complete and versatile instrument, equipped with cutting-edge technologies for distance measurement and ballistic calculation.

Top of the class, it is capable of providing accurate distance measurement up to 4000 yards (approximately 3650 meters ). Equipped with an internal compass as well as sensors for acquiring data from the surrounding environment, such as humidity, barometric pressure and temperature. The ballistic calculation is done autonomously by the device on 3 pre-set calibers.

Alternatively, it is possible to use the device in connection with the GeoBallistics® app, which in addition to having ballistic data on countless calibers, also receives crucial data from the surrounding environment online, and allows rapid calculation of the shot based on the detected distance.


Furthermore, for 100% precise data collection, the rangefinder can be combined with Kestrel® devices for measuring meteorological data directly in the field.


The Razor 4000 has two ways of calculating wind incidence. The wind intensity is data that must be entered manually (or received via a Kestrel® device). The first mode simply calculates the incidence of the wind assuming that it comes exactly from the right or left with respect to the shooting direction.
The second mode uses the integrated compass, so just position yourself in the direction where the wind is blowing and memorize it, so that any measurement carried out in other directions automatically takes the wind direction into account.

The rangefinder also includes the classic site angle compensation, as well as the functions of detecting the first object present in the frame, or the most relevant object in the background. Furthermore, over long distances, the measurement is automatically carried out 4 times to exclude any erroneous measurements and provide a more accurate data.

A sturdy clip that can be installed on both sides allows for convenient transportation.
Equipped with an attachment to be mounted on a tripod.
