Dupont Zytel Polymer Shell: This extremely rugged polymer that PTS uses in our Enhanced Polymer product line allows the EPM to withstand a significant amount of use and abuse in the field.
Bright Orange Full Load Indicator: When the magazine is fully loaded, an orange follower appears at the base of the clear bullet window. This is a remarkable design feature unique to the EPM as it allows the end user to pick up any EPM magazine and instantly know if the magazine is full and ready to use. It also functions as a visual indicator to let the user know when to stop loading the magazine.
Angled Base: The bottom of the baseplate has been designed with an angled surface that allows the end user to rest the pistol on any flat shooting surface and have more surface area contact for increased shooting stability. The angled surface is minimized to the point of being functional, yet still comfortable to hold when drawn from pockets and also does not inhibit the closure of the flaps on closed magazine pouches. The front of the baseplate has also been designed with a grooved ridge that promotes easier magazine extraction from deep magazine pockets and can assist the end user in properly indexing the magazine. The base dot matrix pattern allows for magazine customization and identification.
Continuous magazine guides reduce snagging when magazines are removed and reinserted into pouches.
