PISTON HEAD THS-P01 3.0 FOR HIGH-SPEED DSG DMR MAW (MAW-80201)

Latest updated version of the well known MAW piston head!
Always made of white Delrin T25 with a very low friction coefficient with the metal, naked it weighs only 3.01g, probably the lightest in the world, the total weight complete with new TITANIUM fixing screw (grade 5), aluminum bearing holder, new bushing (dummy bearing) in super-sliding gray technopolymer and O/R in viton is only 5.80g! The beating mass on the cylinder head is only 6.29kg/f (calculated with a 15-tooth sector gear and 100M/s spring).
The holes on the front remain unchanged, centered towards the inside of the head, both to avoid any obstructions in the initial aspiration phase in contact with the rubber pad of the cylinder head, and to quickly channel the air that the central ogive directs towards its base in the compression phase. In the throat for the o/r holes have been positioned in such a way as to push it directly towards the outside for a more rapid expansion.
The front striking surface has been further improved with just one millimetre of chord and concentrated exclusively on the circumference to have silence and cushioning at the moment of impact against the cylinder head.
The entire front surface is aerodynamically designed, so there are no corners, cones or edges that can create turbulence.
The housing for the M3 screw anchoring to the piston has been extended, thus increasing the contact surface with the screw itself for even more secure tightening during assembly. The aluminum support for the bearing remains unchanged.
The THS-P01 v3.0 is ideal for any custom use, DSG, high speed, normal speed and if desired DMR and with any barrel length, ensuring impressive single shot consistency, excellent silence and in time tests it scores a good 0.05J more than many heads tested on the same replica configuration.
