Nylon fiber-reinforced polymer is used for the barrel, free-floating forend, slide and enlarged SF stock, as well as the pistol grip. Aluminum alloy and ZnAl were used for the barrel, flash suppressor, enlarged charging handle and manipulators. All screws, pins, cartridge ejection window and dummy lock are made of steel. Markings and serial number have been applied to the bodywork.
The replica was assembled very well, the user will not notice any play between the lower and upper body. The use of lightweight material body and front made it possible to reduce weight, which makes it perfect as a replica for dynamic CQB games. Additionally, the nylon fiber reinforcement makes the construction more durable than other polymer constructions.
The airsoft rifle is equipped with a quick spring change system, ESA™. This allows for quick and efficient adjustment of the replica's power to expected battlefield conditions without the need for access to a workshop or a set of specialized tools.
The replica has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe type batteries. The kit also includes an M90 spring, which allows the muzzle velocity to be reduced to ~300 FPS, thus making the replica perfectly suited for short-range or indoor operations.
The new version also includes GATE's famous X-ASR mosfet with deans-t connection.
