The receiver, the buttstock tube with the SF-type enlarged stock housing the battery, as well as the pistol grip were made of nylon fiber-reinforced polymer plastic. Other components, such as the barrel, the forend of the RIS, the flash hider, the enlarged charging handle and the tactical sling assembly are made of metal (all screws, pins, the case ejection lug and the dummy bolt are made of steel). The receiver has markings and a serial number.
