Specna Arms J-Series ™ rifles replicas are primarily made of steel. Steel elements include the body, dust cover, outer barrel, trigger guard, magazine latch, fire mode selector plate, gas tube, muzzle, tactical loop stock harness, rear sight, cleaning rod, stock retainer, butt plate as well as pins and rivets. The remaining metal elements have been made of an alloy of zinc and aluminum with a special coating used for their finish which gives the replica a very realistic look. Similar to the original firearm, the folding stock, pistol grip, magazine, handguard, and gas tube cover were all made of polymer.

The J-Series ™ Enter & Convert ™ rifle's quick-change spring-change system allows quick and easy adjustment of the replica's power to anticipated playing field conditions without the need to go to a workshop or a series of specials tools. Once the shifter has been pulled out of the replica body, the spring changing process takes literally seconds - all you need to do is pull the guide along with the spring through the opening in the shifter frame.

Replicas are compatible with most of the magazines of Cyma, JG, E&L, Bolt, the use of magazines of other brands may require some modifications.
The J-Series ™ airsoft replicas have a Gearbox ORION ™ V3 which is characteristic for its high reliability in stock. The mechanism is ready for further tuning and cooperation with the M140 main springs.
