Specna Arms J Series carbine replicas are made primarily of steel.
Steel parts include the receiver, dust cover, outer barrel, trigger guard, magazine catch, fire mode selector plate, gas tube, flash hider, tactical sling ring on the stock, rear sight, cleaning rod, stock stop, shoulder rest, as well as pins and rivets.
The remaining metal elements were made of a zinc and aluminum alloy with a special coating used for their finishing that gives the replica a very realistic look.
Similar to the original firearm, the folding stock, pistol grip, magazine, handguard and gas tube cover were all made of polymer.
