The weapon was built with high quality materials, giving it a great finish both inside and out. Externally the weapon features a high quality alloy receiver, iron sights and magazines, with a real walnut wood stock, grip and pistol grip. This isn't just an M1A1 military Thompson with drum magazines, the receiver has been redesigned to faithfully reproduce the gangster classic. Internally the weapon features all the advancements you'd expect from a more modern Airsoft replica, with a rear wired shifter with silver harness, an adjustable hop-up unit for range and accuracy, as well as an electronic trigger for improved response to fire .

The weapon also features adjustable Ironsights, just like the real weapon, along with front and rear shoulder loops for attaching a variety of harness configurations.
The weapon features a pneumatic recoil system, with the gun dust cover connected to the inner workings of the gearbox, which means that when fired the weapon the bolt returns adding to the realism of the weapon not just a visual aspect, but the audible return of the charging handle.
