A micro laser sight assist module lowers directly onto a Model 17 gun without the need for accessory guides; attached by blocking the front of the trigger guard. It is only a low power red dot laser, safer for shorter range and for indoor use, hence powerful powerful green lasers.
The laser module comes in two parts, the clamp assembly with attachments to the gun and the laser pod that attaches to the bracket. The entire unit has a very homologous, organic design that adds an artistic glow to your gun rather than a laser-emitting brick. The module places a switch on each side, or it will work; placement allows easy access with the trigger from both sides.
Its solid polymer construction makes it strong yet very light, adding just a little weight to your weapon, although the added shape interferes with holsters conforming to the shape.
Works with 3 LR44 button batteries, this model comes bundled with 3 included.
