MIDDLE AGES PISTOL CROSSBOW (23.01)

Crossbow, also called pistol crossbow due to the characteristic bolt that arches behind the trigger of the nut. Considered an insidious weapon, because it could be easily hidden in clothing, it was banned as early as the second half of the 16th century. Holders in national hard fiber wood with carving and floral decorations. The rope, made of woven hemp threads, is attached to the pointed ends of the steel bow, covered with leather trim. Bracket, trigger, front sight and sight table are in burnished metal, while the applications are in gilded metal. The crossbow comes with a metal-tipped wooden bolt, featuring natural quill fins.
